Research Interest
I’m interested in the evolution of complex signals. Particularly, I have an interest in the influence of interspecific signal interactions on the signal evolution in multi-species assemblages. During my Ph.D., I have been working on the development of a new technique to detect signal interaction among ground-dwelling spiders in the field. Using the technique, I’m studying the relationship between the degree of which species are overlapped in their signal space and the signal complexity of Schizocosa wolf spiders.
